Sue Potter’s end of life care

Hello Everyone,

We have received an amazing amount of support from the greatest people during this difficult time. Many people have reached out to us and asked if we could set up a way to support Sue during her battle with cancer. We just wanted to say Thank You to all of our great friends and family, we truly are blessed.

My Aunt will pass soon and this is super hard for our family. We are in need of assistance with her end of life care. It’s hard for our family to ask for help, but we have no choice. Any donations received will to go towards Aunt Sue’s cremation expenses and would be greatly appreciated.

Sue has fought cancer for 2+ years, when I say fight, she was in and out of hospitals numerous times over the course of her fight.

Let me tell you a little about my Aunt Sue. She’s Nyna’s & Tammy’s big sister, She is so amazing, very giving and super caring. You can ask anyone, her beautiful soul loved to help others, if she could, she did and if she couldn’t Sue would see that as an opportunity to learn something new, as well as pass along her network of contacts for support.

Aunt Sue is a fun loving and funny member of our family. Never a dull moment when she’s around. She’s the strongest Woman We’ve ever known.

Two plus years ago she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, she had a mass that destroyed 98% of her large colon.  Unfortunately she had a colostomy, leaving her weak and sometimes unable to eat. She lost lots of weight, but kept her spirits high as she fought, looking to the future of raising her grandsons. She wasn’t going to let that setback stop her from living her best life. And she didn’t, Aunt Sue keeps fighting strong to the end.

A year later she had complications with that colostomy, and Dr’s gave her a reversal procedure. Which she had for a little while, until she also had complications with that one too.

Aunt Sue had a 2nd reversal getting her colostomy bag back, which gave her more complications with this one as well.  Recently Aunt Sue went in for another surgery in hopes of removal of a blockage, but unfortunately her cancer has metastasize and fighting for survival is no longer an option. We are keeping her comfortable, as best as we can, during this tough time.

Anything will help, even a share. Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you to everyone that has reached out this past week. We are so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing family and friends. We love you!! ❤️
