Dear Family and Friends,
This Go Fund Me account is being created to help someone that everyone who works or has worked with at Marion Oaks Elementary School knows, loves, and thinks of as family, Mr. Mike Rojas.
In June 2016 Mike went to the emergency room with breathing and swallowing difficulties, which led to an immediate Tracheotomy.
After many tests administered, Mike was diagnosed with Stage 2 Throat Cancer. He is receiving chemotherapy, radiation treatments, and is acquiring nutrition through a feeding tube as he is still unable to swallow.
Mike will be in recovery for at least one year,
preventing him from attending work. Due to his current medical needs, his wife has had to take a leave of absence from her job to take care of him and their children.
All donations will be used for medical bills, household bills, family income, and all other needed expenditures.
If you know Mike, then you have seen how dedicated and hard working he is every single moment of every day. Whether it be for his job as a Plant Manager at the school or to his family, Mike has always shown care, love, and dedication to us all. He is the "Go To Guy" for everything needed to be done and our school could not and will not be the same without him here.
At this time we are asking for all of us to come together to help Mike and his family when they have given so much to all of the employees, children, and parents here at Marion Oaks Elementary School. All donations are greatly appreciated.
