Hello Everyone,
Most of you may already know that our girl's Senior Softball AllstarTeam defeated Section 3 Champion Middleton Little League earlier this week to win the N.J. State Title in dramatic fashion ! They will now be representing the State of N.J. in the Eastern Regional Tournament in Worcester Mass. July 22cnd through July 28th. They are one of ten teams playing for a spot in the Senior League Softball World Series in Roxana, Delaware. The girls have all worked very hard together as a team and earned this accomplishment. The Team travel and boarding cost will be expensive. Through generous personal and business donations we have a plan to raise half of our target, We have a long way to go! Northfield Little League is asking for supporters to help cover the travel and boarding cost for the Eastern Regional Tournament in Massachusetts (and hopefully the World Series in Roxana Delaware). If you are in a position to help, please consider making a donation to this amazing team. No contribution is too small! You could also help by forwarding this link to a friend or colleague that may be interested in supporting the girls. Please understand this is a combined team with girls representing the towns of Northfield, Linwood, Somers Point, Egg Harbor Township, Margate and Ventnor. Your support will enable several of the families to make the trip to watch their daughters play in this “once in a lifetime” opportunity.
