Building A Pediatric’s Hospital Wing in Kenya
Donation protected
Hi friends and family. I am embarking on this fundraising mission and journey to help support raise funds to facilitate the construction of a Pediatric’s Wing at The Salvation Army Health Center, Kolanya, Busia North, Kenya. This children’s wing is dedicated to the memory of my parents, Erastus Mwololo & Rachel Mwololo( now deceased). My parents spent many of their earlier years in this part of Kenya, serving God and the community as full time ministers of the Gospel in The Salvation Army evangelical organization.
Majority of children and parents in this part of Kenya have walk or drive sometimes for many miles to the nearest town to get treatment and necessary medication.
I recall very well a time when I was about 8 years old. I was very sick suffering from Malaria. I was laying on my mother’s lap. She was crying and pleading with God to spare my life as my dad was driving us to the hospital, an hour away. I can still remember seeing my mom’s face filled with tears as she pleaded with God to take me home or spare my life. I would have died on my mom’s lap but God kept me alive to ensure that no child has to suffer the same fate of being driven for an hour or more to get proper medical attention. This is my Why and the passion that drives me to ensure that we raise enough funds to build a hospital well equipped to treat every sick child brought in for treatment.
I have provided a few pictures of the parents, especially mother’s who have to walk long distances to get treatment for their children. As you give, remember you are changing the lives of these precious children and their parents.
God richly bless you for your generosity.
Remember: What you do for others, whether good or bad, will be done for you.
