APC Creation Station Furniture

My name is Maureen Frew and I'm a Maker Education Specialist at the Avonworth Primary Center in Pittsburgh, PA. I'm so excited to be in this new position this year where I will have the opportunity to work with each and every student in our school to explore the world of making!
I'm raising money for the 450 FANTASTIC students at the Avonworth Primary Center. These are wonderful little girls and boys ages 5 - 8.
I will use the money to purchase 6 tables, 30 stools and 6 hanging electrical outlets for the room. We have a dedicated Make Shop room but we need age appropriate furniture for these tiny bodies. By hanging the electrical outlets in the ceiling we will do away with cords on the floor, eliminating tripping hazards.
I would like the money by August 5, 2016 so that I am able to buy the furniture, build it, and have the electrical work completed before school starts for my students on August 22, 2016.
I first want to say that I work in an incredible school district, that goes above and beyond to make things possible for our students. I would like to raise this money to help our district with this room. I want my students to walk into our Creation Station and know instantly that they are walking into a different learning environment. That they are in a place where GREAT things are going to happen each time they enter the room!
If I (we) can make this happen for our students we will be so grateful to each and every person who helps us with our journey. The world of making opens up doors to all students no matter what level they are starting with. In our Creation station everyone has a place and a purpose!
