Hansen boat co. Book project

As a person who grew up in a fishing family with a love for the big wooden seine boats that graced the fleet and harbors I got to know many by name ,who built them, years they were launched, the machinery inside them ,the owners. I grew to gain history and knowledge of many of the boats in the fleet and I have been urged by many friends and family to do a historical timeline  book about the Hansen boat company. The Hansen boat company built many vessels to which most are still fishing strong and the family is going  into their 4th generation of family boat building facing the decades of boatbuilding trends of change and have  survived in the business to where other builders couldn't stay alive and closed down . With over  100 years still in business the Hansen boat company is a living testament of strong work ethic, good reputation for a quality built boat along with turning out beautiful boats of their own designs. I have amassed quite a collection of photos from many of my friends on Facebook who scoured old photo albums and shared them with me. And now, I'm at the point of needing funding for further research,travel,purchase  equipment to conduct interviews, copy photos and start publication. All donors will receive a free signed copy for their personal book collection. This book will be affordable and is being considered being done in a electronic book format as well. If you can't donate funding and happen to have good photos of Hansen built boats to loan for copy and photo credit in the finished publication, that would be considered a donation and a signed copy will be given.
