Life hasn't always been kind to Liz.

Her medical history within the past two decades has been a chronicle of illnesses that doctors have told her not everyone survives. She's had to listen to “worst possible scenarios” too often. She's had to see the same look of discouragement too many times.

Two years ago, Liz underwent brain surgery for occipital neuralgia that did not go as expected. What should have been as routine as brain surgeries go left her, two years later, with permanent facial palsy, hearing loss, a nearly fatal abscess in her brain, bacterial meningitis, and three individual surgeries on her brain, not accounting for the various other surgeries.

She's not asking for your help. But we are. When your mom opens up to you, afraid for her life, but unable to afford treatments that could help her, you want to do something. You want to do everything.

Life hasn't always been kind to Liz, but she's been kind back. And right now, she needs some kindness. If we work together, we can give her the best amenities and treatment and support that are available.
