The mission of Hudson River Music Hall Music Hall Productions, Inc, is to "create community through music and the related arts." To that end, we purchased the historic Strand Theater in Hudson Falls on October 7th, 2016. We are raising funds to continue to restore the entire theater with the goal of completing our final phase of renovation by the Fall of 2027.

Our goal was to create a grass roots movement of local, regional national and international musicians and artists to revitalize a community that has seen it's manufacturing base move out of the area. HRMHP previously owned the historic Telephone Company building for 5 years before purchasing the Stand and prior to that we reopened the historic Washington County Courthouse and renovated it to be a concert hall. Since 2011 we have hosted an average of 200+ events per year. The Strand Theatre Hudson Falls has a 400-seat capacity with additional seating on recently built balconies behind the stage, giving the patrons a unique view into a live production. Our next project is to recreate historical opera boxes on either side of the stage apron. We plan to use them for additional seats as well as aspects of production; musicians, actors, lighting needs, etc.

We promote all kinds of music; rock, folk, classical, jazz, world music and more along with dance, theater, film and lectures. We give opportunities to musicians of all ages and all levels of participation. The residents of Hudson Falls, NY are very giving; taking care of families in need. It is with that spirit that people decide to raise their children here. We hope to improve the quality of life for people in the community and the surrounding region and give our children a bright future. It is a community where people will be able to walk to a performance with their loved ones and make new friends. Please join the Strand Revival!!
