Hi, My name is Sasha, I'm Hughs daughter in law. Im here to try and raise funds to pay for his cremation and a small funeral service on behalf of his wife Pat, daughter Mandy and his Son (my husband) Ricky. Hugh sadly left us all on Sunday, 5th of October 2025, 2 months away from his 77th birthday. He is an amazing man and will be missed greatly. Unfortunately saving money in this economy hasnt been achievable for any of us with Mandy dedicating her life to caring for Mum, Dad and 4 year old daughter. I have a work injury and havent been able to work for the last 6 months, and Ricky is a stay at home Dad (i wanted it this way because i wanted to build a career for myself, our daughter will be going to daycare when she is a little older so he can work too). My work injury doesn't allow me to be a stay at home mum while he works right now because I need alot of help.

We are not having a big funeral, we are just trying to fund his cremation and just having a small gathering after. Anything helps and all money donated will be going immediately to Mandy, as she is the one organising everything, and has spent her life looking after Mum and Dad. We have attempted government assistance but unfortunately dont qualify due to a small T&C.
