On July 27, 2013, I woke up and I was not feeling well. I had difficulty using the bathroom. I was told that I kept laughing. My blood pressure was very high that time and many were suggesting that I would go to the emergency but I hesitated with the fear that I would not be able to work if I stay there long. I stayed in the house , our landlady is a nurse so she knows what she is doing. My church mates came so they prayed. Some applied water therapy on my feet and massaged them. The following day, mfy daughter called our best friend and she came. She noticed that my speech was slurry and that was one sign of stroke so she and my daughter brought me to the clinic. When the doctor checked me up, he said my blood pressure was high and yes, I had stroke so he immediately called the ambulance and I was brought to New York hospital from there. In the New York hospital, the doctors kept looking for the reason why I suffered such but they couldn't find. They put loop recorder on my chest and I underwent several tests but still. From there, I was brought to Rusk rehabilitation center. I stayed there for more than a month. I then was brought to Tish where I had my surgery. The doctor said the reason for my surgery is because I had "Moyà moya" disease. In there, I nearly died, my surgery was not about to be pushed through because according to the assistants of the Doctor, I was too weak to undergo MRI so I insisted that I could. The nurse even called my children to inform them that I was just waiting for the time to die. After my surgery, one saw me and he said I was fatal. I really consider this a miracle and I believe He has a reason why I survived. After 2 weeks of my surgery, I was brought to the nursing home. In there, there were many things I couldn't do like eating solid food, drinking plain water, brushing my teeth, taking a shower, changing clothes and many more. I stayed in the nursing home for 5 months. I want to go back to my normal self, I want to have therapy  because my speech can hardly be understood, my balance is off, I am dragging my right foot when I walk, I walk very slowly and many others.
