On Sunday August 7th Mike "Mad Dog" Mauceri was hit on the freeway while riding his motorcycle in Orange County and passed Monday the 8th from head trauma. Anyone who spent more than a couple minutes with this man know how great he was. With out a doubt he would make any situation better just by being there and out of the 15 years I've had the pleasure of knowing Mad Dog I haven't met a person who doesn't love him. To me he was the shinning example for how to live life to the fullest and do it while being a good man. Never was he short on solid advice and he always gave more than he would take. The world truly isn't as good without him. For those who do not know me my name is Chance and I'm his son Mike Junior's best friend and roommate. Mad dog was certainly a father figure to me and its devastating to see him go so soon. The impact he has had on my life has been exceptionally positive and I love him and his family very much.
