My name is Suzanne and I am blessed to be one of the aunties to Mark and Stefanie Gallaghers' four little girls. This past Friday, Mark was brought to the hospital with severe chest pain. After an EKG , it was determined that Mark had a secondary AV block (an electrical conduction problem) causing extremely low heart rate and blood pressure.
Preliminary test results showed Mark was infected with Lyme disease, which is directly causing the blockage in his heart. Currently he is being treated with a PICC line of antibiotics for the Lyme and responding slowly. In addition, Mark has Pericarditus (inflamation around his heart) and Meningtus (inflamation in his spinal cord) also caused by the Lyme.
Mark will need to stay in the hospital for anywhere from 1-3 weeks depending on how his heart responds to treatment.
As you may or may not know, Mark is the soul provider for his family of six through his painting business, called Gallagher Painting Plus. The business employs two others and is very labor intenstive. Mark's diagnosis, will inhibit his ability to work for at least 6 weeks and in turn significantly impact his financial support to both his family and his two employees.
I am reaching out to those who are able to support the family's journey of faith, trust, and healing. I hope to raise money to support and relieve them of financial strain that this circumstance has brought.
With your help, the family will be able to pay their medical bills, provide food, and cover housing expenses. Each day that Mark is unable to work, it takes away income for all those are reliant on him.
If you are able to give, please know that they will be incredible grateful. This is not an easy thing to ask for, yet is critical in seeing them all get through this difficult phase.
