Hi everyone,
My name is Jordan, his daughter, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dad, James Woods. Last night, he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. While we are beyond grateful that he is still with us, he sustained significant injuries and is now facing a long road to recovery. Both arms are broken possible collar and shoulder blade and also a neck fracture and a long road of surgery’s start Monday 9/15 morning.
James is not only my dad—he’s a loving, brother, friend, and a man who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. Between hospital bills, ongoing medical treatments, and time away from his shop, Woods Performance, the financial burden is something we simply cannot face alone.
We are asking for your help to support him during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward his medical expenses, rehabilitation, and helping him get back on his feet. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help us reach others who may be able to contribute.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your prayers, support, and kindness. Our family truly appreciates it.
With gratitude,
Jordan and his fellow friends and family.
Update: 9/16
He got transferred to a step down unit! Which is awesome but he’s still being monitored closely. Surgery last night went great, both arms and clavicle(collar bone) have screws and plates. Neurology said no surgery on his neck which is good news, so he was able to sit on the side of the bed today. He was complaining of ankle pain thankfully it’s just a pretty good sprain so that should heal quickly.
Provider says at least 6-8 weeks in a neck and back brace so he’s got a bit of a road ahead.
Thank you everyone for your donations so far, anything helps! We are hoping to keep his local cycle shop Woods Performance on its feet while he recovers and also covering many medical expenses.
