Get Gracie Back on Her Feet!

All of you know how much Gracie means to my family and me. She’s such a big part of our lives ⏤ and nothing puts a smile on our faces like seeing her run toward us to greet us with her waggin’ tail, or seeing her sprint in open fields, or watching her walk away with her lil booty shake.

Late Sunday night we found her struggling to walk ⏤ wobbling side to side, stepping on her knuckles, then eventually unable to move her hind legs and tail. After a visit to the Vet and two animal hospitals, we learned that she was actually suffering from a number of spinal injuries and/or diseases. We are going forward with a surgery that may help her walk again. Unfortunately, if that does not work she will be wheelchair bound for the rest of her life.

Your donations will go towards helping pay for the cost of the MRI, surgery, medication, and follow up visits. If she needs a wheelchair, proceeds will also go towards the costs of easing the transition and anything additional that comes with caring for a disabled dog ⏤  like physical therapy, routine check-ups (she will be prone to UTI’s), etc.

In the end, we just want her to be happy and comfortable. We want to give her a chance at living the best life she can possibly have ⏤ on all four or on two wheels.

Please help her roam the open fields again.
Please help her shake her booty again.
Please help us see how happy she is with her waggin’ tail again.
