We lost our hero yesterday when Pops passed away. He was a husband, father, grandfather and friend who loved unconditionally. Pops was well known throughout the Longview community as a coach and mentor to countless kids. He donated his own money and time to building community softball and baseball fields without expecting anything in return.  For over 40 years he took time out of his day to help and give his knowledge of sports to any kid that ever asked, with the most kind and selfless attitude. Pops was a true legend to his family and community. 

Grams needs our help to deal with the costs associated with Pops' cremation, submitting an obituary, and purchasing flowers and handouts for his memorial service. We are asking that people who knew and loved him please donate to help cover the costs of this burden. All donations will go directly to Lorraine "Grams" Petersen.

We are grateful for all of the love and support we have recieved over these last few days. Pops will never be forgotten.
