This page was created for some very close friends of ours that alot of people in Shelby NC know as The Boris Family they recently sold their home to move closer to his Heart Doctors at Boston Childrens Hospital Heart Center. Markie has been in the hospital since June 30th with some complications and they just found out last night that he will need a very risky heart surgery. This is the post his Parents posted this morning:
So this is what we know.......
We have only one option. His heart is really sick. He won't make it through valve replacement surgery. There is a new procedure being done in France. His surgeon has done it here once before. He needs to tweak it though, change it a bit, which has never been done before. Very high mortality rate. If we do nothing......6 - 12 months if that.
He is still sleeping. It was a long night. We had to tell him yesterday. His reply was, I wanna fight, I want to live. He is my heart warrior hero.
Maggie & Mark Boris

Maggie has been out of work for several weeks now taken care of Markie in Boston Hospital & they really need the community's help right now. Let's show this Family how much we love them by helping them relieve some of the financial stress. They could also use Lots & Lots of Prayers. All money raised will be given to the Family. A few of their close Friends will also be doing a Fundraiser Yard & Hotdog/Bake Sale soon so we will keep everyone informed on the Dates & Times.
