Housefire, Need Help

This is surreal. It took me several days and the appeals of many friends to even get to the point where I could sit at the keyboard and write this.
You hear the stories but never think they will be You. I certainly never thought I'd be the one passing the virtual hat.
The best I can do is tell you what happened...
My fiancee and I came home from vacation visiting my Mom, last Saturday, and went to concert on Sunday, After falling asleep on Sunday night, I woke up - I still dont know why (to the bathroom, a smoke alarm? I just don't know) - and found a relatively small fire in our kitchen. I ran to wake up Tim and shook him awake "TIM FIRE FIRE FIRE WAKE UP!"
He ran to the kitchen with me, where flames were coming from where the stove meets the fridge.
Everything becomes a blur. I ran to grab one of our cats a ran outside. By this time, everyone was on the street - neighbors and - thankfully - everyone in the building
I ran back up stairs and Tim was still trying to put it out.. I was BEGGING him to LET IT GO and RUN OUT. FINALLY he did. shortly after the FD arrived.
We let them know we had a cat inside. THey came out to let me know they had contained Evander in the bedroom.
I guess yall dont need every detail but except to say that we lost Everything.
And that we are so grateful that everyone in our building got out safely - and all the pets.
I have spent the last 4 days on the phone with the fire department, and police department, independent investigators, no less than 3 insurance adjusters, and EVERYONE AGREES that the fire was caused by bad wiring in the firdge. Owned by the Landlord. But they denied our claim because he's "not liable" for appliances provided by him.
so We aren't liable, He isn't liable, NO ONE is liable, and meanwhile our apartment wont be ready to move back for at least 10 weeks.
So this Fund, is me, against my natural instincts, asking for help with us finding a new apartment. We have no family in the area. Our jobs are here. We literally have nowhere to go that isn't at least 3 states away.
I feel so uncomfortable but if anyone can spare, maybe a buck, even a few cents from bottle returns. We are at the point where every little thing - LITERALLY every little thing helps..
Thanks for your consideration.
