This campaign is to cover expenses and medical costs of cancer treatments for Ellie.
Back in August 2014 Ellie was diagnosed with triple negative Breast Cancer. After many months of treatments she thought she'd beat it. At the beginning of this year she started to feel funny like something was wrong with her health again. She would get a sharp pain in her neck, shoulder, and lower back which then led her to get tested.
After many tests such as ultrasounds, CT scans, X-rays, and biopsy of her liver in May 2016, her doctors told her that her breast cancer came back. It metastastized to her liver, lymph nodes, and bones. She’s fighting it systemically with chemo medication which is very toxic to her body leaving her weak and vulnerable.
While Ellie is going through the toughest part of her life of battling cancer and caring for her disabled teenage son, she continues to be strong and still remains positive.

Mientras Ellie está pasando por la parte más difícil de su vida luchando contra el cáncer y el cuidado de su hijo adolescente discapacitado, sigue siendo fuerte y todavía sigue siendo positivo.
