Creighton Twins *Mya & Maddison*

My name is Ashley Butler. I am writing this in hopes of reaching out to those who can lend a helping hand to my two dear friends Victoria and Ryan.

The Creighton family was blessed with the exhilarating news of becoming pregnant with twin girls in June 2015. Victoria and Ryan were ecstatic to expand their family and give Jayden and Joshua two new sisters.  

Victoria had gone to Credit Valley Hospital where they confirmed the water on twin A had broken and there was some fluid around that baby. Victoria and Ryan were told that Victoria’s body would go into labor within 24-48 hours; Max one week and they would lose both of the girls. Victoria was scheduled for an induction of labor the next day. They went home that night and agreed they could not go ahead with the induction. The waters for twin B were still intact; we had to give that baby a fighting chance. 

Weeks had passed and Victoria still did not go into labor. Twin B was growing perfectly as well as Twin A without any amniotic fluid was staying strong. Later on, Victoria and Ryan had found out the water had broken on Twin B as well. Victoria was admitted to Mount Sinai as they were sure Victoria would go into labor immediately. After spending a week at the hospital Victoria was sent home as she had not gone into labor. 

On December 29th 2015, the world welcomed two adorable twin baby girls, Mya Faith Creighton (Twin A) at 2lbs 7oz born at 1:41am & Maddison Catarina Creighton (Twin B) at 3lbs 3oz born at 1:46am. These beautiful girls were born 12 weeks premature. Against all odds, both babies survived. 

Maddison Catarina (Twin B) is doing well. 

Mya Faith (Twin A) fought incredibly hard since the beginning with chronic lung disease, heart defect and a PDA.. It is with unbearable pain and sorrow that I have to announce that on Saturday February 13th, Mya Faith (Twin A) passed away due to complications. Victoria, Ryan and their family are devastated. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Creighton Family at this time.

I have started this Go Fund Me page in hopes that we can all lend a helping hand in a time of need for Victoria and Ryan. Maddison is still under care at Credit Valley Hospital and will remain under care until the end of March.

Between caring for Jayden and Joshua, driving to and from the hospital , parking fees and medical fees Victoria and Ryan could definitely use some extra help and support during this difficult time. Any amount helps and goes a long way. 

Given these circumstances, you can only imagine the financial hardships that go along with such a story. That is why I wanted to create an outlet for support and updates for everyone who cares for the Creighton Family. The outpour of support and love for this family has been amazing to say the least, and still, everyone asks how they can help beyond sending their love and prayers-so this page has been created.

Again, on behalf of myself and the entire family, we are so grateful for everyone and their love and support during this difficult time.
