Baby Kobe's Heart Surgery Journey

Hi!! My name is Kobe Angelo Pascua and I was born on July 7, 2016 with a congenital heart defect known as  Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.  I flew over to San Diego on a air ambulance with my mommy at seven days old from Hawaii.  My Daddy will be joining us here at Rady Children's Hospital as I wait for my surgery.   Luckily there is a Ronald McDonald house right next door for my parents to be able to stay close to me, but it is still a financial burden for them and not allowing them to be able to work while here with me.  Because of my condition, it is unknown when I will be able to go back home to my smalltown in Hawaii where my sister also awaits to meet me.  Although I am having a difficult start, my parents unconditional love, unwavering strength, and continuous support is what keeps me going.  I know that they would do anything and everything for me even if it causes them many hardships for themselves.  It is also especially difficult for them because my sister Shelly (2) had a rough start and while she is now well and thriving, it is a tender spot reminding them of all they had to go through in a close amount of time.   I am asking if you could please "go fund me" to help my parents continue to be able to be by my side and to aid with their temporary living expenses.  I appreciate more than words can express all my gratitude for each and every one of you to take the time to read my short story.    Thank you with all my heart, God bless you,
