Welcome to my page! I was admitted in the hospital October 15, 2012. I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Polymyositis a week later. I was in the hospital for 16 days. Since then I have been continuing a treatment called IVIG every 4 weeks. I am on a cortisteroid to keep my disease stable until they figure out a treatment that will control Polymyositis. After being diagnosed with that, the doctors have realized I have overlapping causes to my illness, but cannot figure out or treat until the Polymyositis is under control. I am unable to work and I have no timeline of when I will be able to. I still have a very long road to recovery ahead of me. Every couple of weeks I have to refill my prescriptions. Needless to say I have lots of bills! Unfortunately my disability runs out April 2013. I am asking for all of your help.
