Malorie Berge’s heart transplant

What started out as a normal day, turned into this family’s worst nightmare. On Tuesday, May 25th Malorie who is 21 years old had a massive heart attack, one that most would not survive. She was rushed to the ER which turned into Malorie being airlifted to OSF in Peoria, IL. As of now she has had four major surgeries, each were to continue to save her life. This families next step is to get her lungs healthy enough to have a heart transplant. The transplant in itself is risky. Malorie’s family is hopeful they will find her the perfect heart!
JP Berge is the father of Malorie and a UPS driver in Rockford, IL. JP & his wife have had to stop working and take family medical leave and live 3 hours away out of a suitcase to be with their daughter. With no income coming in and the expense of being away from home and the upcoming medical bills that the insurance will not cover, this hard working family needs any and all help that we can give them. NO parent ever wants to face this with one of their children. ANYTHING that you can give to help them out will be one less worry that they will have to face. They will truly appreciate it!
