Leon Tearney son of Micheal and Joyce Tearney. Micheal Tearney, Leon’s father, recently passed away a year ago. Leon Tearney is a father to 3 children; Jasmine (18), Diamond (20), and Jonathan Tearney (10) and 3 step children Britney, Courtney and Brandi.  Leon is an older brother to Maxine. Leon is a wonderful cousin, uncle and friend to so many people.  Leon was a loving, kind , funny & smart person. Leon would always try his best to help people around him to make sure they where good. 

In the year of 2018, He hurt his foot and had to take a leave from work. He was a teacher assistant at at lot of different schools, he loved all the kids that he worked with and whoever came to see him. 

Leon Tearney passed away May 26, 2021 early in the morning, and was found by his 18-year-old daughter Jasmine Tearney at 5:40Am, Jasmine hurried up in called 911 when she knew he was Non-responsive . She began to do CPR while waiting for the 911 operator to send the ambulance. Leon Tearney was still non-responsive , as the ambulance begin to come Jasmine and Leon’s mother began to keep trying to wake him up. The medical people placed Leon flat and tried to shock him to wake him up still no response. 

Leon Tearney did not have life  insurance so unfortunately it will be a little harder for his family to pay for parts of the funeral. So his 2 little girls Diamond & Jasmine and his only son Jonathan Tearney would ask if you can share there GoFundMe around and Donate what your heart feels to help them pay for there father’s funeral they would love and appreciate that.. pls and thank you love all.
