My name is Samantha, and we are raising funds to help us in our time of need. This is something that we hesitated doing, because we don’t want to be a burden to anyone, nor do we want for anyone to feel obligated to help.

Some of you are familiar with my husband and I, whether it’s from school, our walk in the Lord or from Dibs On Ribs. We have been married for 6 years and together have 7 children, 3 of which are toddlers. For those who don’t know us, a few months ago, we jumped in full time to selling bbq. We knew that this was something the Lord was leading us into, and as any other business, we have had our slow days, and as any other person we’ve had several unexpected expenses, because we are of course not exempt. The past couple months have been much more challenging, and though we’d been doing our best to manage and try new ways to budget, it has not been enough,. Our family vehicle was repossessed 2 Mondays ago, and the vehicle remaining is one that we can no longer afford either, our son is in need of a new hearing aid which alone is $1700, and our food trailer is also something we are needing to take care of quickly because selling our business is not an option.

We remain confident that whether it be through this or another avenue, the Lord is making provision. Just last night, we had $15 to our name, and a sister in Christ reached out and said she wanted our cash app info to sow into us, 10 minutes later she sent $100. That $100 helped us buy the rest of what we needed to sell this afternoon. it was such a blessing!

I say all this to give you a glimpse of what we’re currently going through, and more than anything, are in desperate need of prayer.
