Many of you know I have always loved music. I've been singing since I can remember and writing and playing guitar since I was in middle school. Singing songs to and about the Savior of my soul has always been engrained in the fabric of who I am.
In the last couple weeks something I have been praying about for a long time has become a reality. I've been invited to record an EP (a short album, about 6 tracks) with producer Brian Eichelberger (producer, engineer and/or mixing for Citizens & Saints, Dustin Kensrue, Kings Kaleidoscope, The Modern Post, Brilliance, The Sing Team and more). The album will be released in conjunction with Calvary Creative. I LITERALLY CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT GOD IS DOING HERE!
Maybe even crazier than that is that we are going into pre-production on the album a couple weeks from now and are planning on completing the recording by the end of August.
With all that said there are some expenses involved in completing this project and I would like to invite you to partner with me in prayer as we watch the Lord provide. We are projecting the total album cost to be $11,000 (travel, engineering, production, mixing, mastering etc.). A large sum of money but not too big for our God and considerably less than the norm for a project like this.
Already we have seen the Lord provide for half the funds!!! I can't tell you how humbled and amazed I am to see the way the hand of God is moving in this whole thing.
We are still in the process of narrowing down the track-list and will keep you posted throughout, on the progress of the project.
