YWAM Orlando , ( Youth With A Mission )

Hey there,  my name is Jayla , I am a 22 year old woman who is just days away from graduating from Central Washington University with 2 Bachelors Degrees, one in Sociology and the other in Interdisciplinary Studies.  A week and a half after graduation I will pack my bags for Orlando Florida, for my next adventure with an organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM).  I have always been passionate about advocating for marginalized and underserved populations so the program I have chosen is focused on social justice.  I plan to learn about how I can be part of the change I hope see in our world.   The first 3 months of this trip I will be living on campus as a student in Orlando where I will get to grow further in my faith and will have a lot of opportunities to serve underprivileged families in the local community.  The last 2 months of my program will be spent outside of the country, most likely in either Tanzania or Panama, immersed in the culture applying what I have learned in the first few months of my training.  I am insanely excited and nervous all at once for this new journey!

If you would like to be a part of the change and come along with me in my journey there are a couple ways you can help.  First off, I would love your prayers for safety and that I would be effective as I serve these communities.  Second, I worked hard in while getting bachelors to save money to pay for my schooling but I am still raising money for the travel portion of my trip and I would greatly appreciate any donations you feel compelled to give.
