Rebuilding Lives After Fire Tragedy
Donation protected
Last night, January 22, 2025, my brother-in-law, William Maxwell, niece, Phoenix Maxwell (13) and nephew, Jacob Maxwell (20) lost their home to an awful blaze. With 5 neighboring towns fire departments assisting in the battle to fight the fire, the fire blazed on and the house is completely destroyed.
Their 2 loving dogs did not survive the blaze along with everything they have. After leaving the house with the clothes on their backs to watch a winter concert for my niece, they returned home to dozens of emergency vehicles and could not even see their house.
Quite literally, they have nothing. No clothes, no pictures, no computers, no towels, no nothing. It is very sad. Unfortunately, due to the economy and financial struggles, their homeowners insurance had lapsed and they have no recourse to make any claims towards their losses.
We are reaching out today to ask for your help to get this family safe, housed, clothed and fed for the short term and help them to rebuild and recover from this horrific event for the long term.
Will is a single father, he has had sole custody of Jacob since he was 5 years old. With no support from Jacob’s mother, Will has supported and raised Jacob on his own. Will also just lost his father this past fall.
While the family has struggled right along, this is absolutely devastating for them. So much loss and sadness is difficult to overcome. Nobody or no amount of money can take away the pain and/or loss that they are experiencing, but we are asking for your help to ease some of the financial strain.
Thank you in advance!
God bless ❤️
