Thank you in advance for reading about what is happening in my life right now:)
My name is Carina Carr, I'm a 20-year-old student at the University of California, Santa Cruz majoring in Community Studies and Education.
I am currently raising money for a mission trip I will be partaking in this coming fall! My mission will be through an organization called YWAM (Youth With a Mission.) YWAM is driven by reaching those who have never had the opportunity to hear about and know Jesus Christ and experience His love. I will spend 6 months (3 in northern Washington and 3 in Southeast Asia) spreading the gospel and learning more about my own purpose in this life we have been given. The 3 months in Washington will be a training phase, consisting of lectures from speakers from all around the world to get prepared for the mission work! The second 3 months, in a TBD Southeast Asia location, will be the outreach phase. Here we will take what we learned in training and spread the love of Jesus Christ in that country.
The cost for this trip includes food, transportation during the stay, and living space while in Washington and Southeast Asia. This mission trip is something that I have wanted to pursue for a couple of years now, so it would be an extreme honor to finally be able to go through with it. The funds are a large part of getting there, which is why any help at all would be so, so appreciated. If you feel inclined to donate, any bit would be of great help, so please do!
