My name is Sydney Huckfeldt, and I am the daughter of Melanie Goodrick-Allen. Melanie has recently been diagnosed with uterine clear cell carcinoma cancer at the young age of 50, she went two years being misdiagnosed with various other health issues. She has already undergone a full hysterectomy, and is starting her chemo treatment July 20th, 2016. She developed a pneumothorax after recieving her port placement in the end of june. After enduring three painful chest tubes and spending over a week in the hospital recovering she has finally made it back home. The money being rasied will be used towards hospital bills, and surviving every day life. Melanie worked as a profesional hair stylist, going through this transition has prevented her from working and making a living.
