Eric Broman, was a loving son, brother nephew, cousin and friend, who was taken too soon.
At the young age of 29 in February 2015 he was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer that was in mestasis which travel to every organ and bone is his body. Making normal everyday task difficult and some nearly impossible. Some days he couldn't walk because his hips would be in so much pain. Other days he couldn't eat due to severe nausea from chemo or other treatments to fight the disease. The doctors did all they could but the cancer was so aggressive it spread faster than they could contain it. He would cry with his mom because he was in constant pain, he didnt feel like himself.
Prior to this he was very active played football from a young child and all through highschool years. He had a dream of becoming a police officer, but due the pain in his hip which was cancer related it prevented him from doing so. He was full of life, he listened to disney music knew every word and would sing them in the car proudly. Going to disneyland and traveling to Las Vegas were some of his favorite things to do. Also attending video game events as well since he was a gamer from the age of 1 and never stopped playing.
Eric fought his disease for 1 year and 5 months giving everything he had until the very end. He unfortunantly passed Tuesday July 12, 2016 at 9:59am PST The cancer was more aggresive and toward the end was Stage 5. He passed peacfully in his sleep, his mother, sister, uncle and grandmother were blessed to be present at the moment he became an angel. The family is deeply saddened, but more relieved that Eric is no longer in pain and suffering from this awful disease.
All and any fund raised will go toward Eric's final expenses and help the family in this difficult time. The Broman family is very grateful to everyone for any and all support.
