The 4th of July was the day that Rusty's life changed. A firework malfunctioned. Rusty lost part of one hand and hurt the other. His hearing was also affected. He lost the ability to complete even the most daily life activities. Think of your fishing buddy who defines fishing as his life. Think of your friend, dad, or brother, who uses his hands as his only source of income. We are asking you to think of that friend who always has a smile on and puts everyone first. Rusty is a local to Pompano and Deerfield Beach, FL. and is 28 years old.


Rusty will have months of hospital care and long hours of rehab to overcome what happened to him. The bills are already mounting. He can no longer use his hands and will need prosthetics. We need your help now so Rusty has the best chance for the best possible recovery.
