My name is Martha and I work in the Orthodontic Industry. A very hardworking and sweet family has had a tragic accident occur. On June 7, 2019- Carlos was a passenger in a car that lost control and hit a concrete barrier. He is in the ICU at CMC Main Hospital in Charlotte NC. He has 2 broken legs, a shattered hip, multiple broken ribs and internal injuries. He and Annette have a 5 year old daughter and this family will need all the prayers and financial support that our community can give them. I have worked with Annette for over 5 years and she is the most hardworking Orthodontic Assistant I have ever known. She always puts everyone else first and is willing to do anything to help someone. She will be supporting her family while Carlos is recovering. He will have a long rehabilitation period to heal and will not be able to work for a lengthy period of time.
A financial gift for this family is important because they will only have one income. Annette has continued to work everyday since the accident to meet her financial needs. She will continue to work full time to provide for her family, however, any additional contributions would be greatly appreciated. She not only has the financial burden to provide, but she is a wonderful and loving mother, and wants to maintain a stress free life for their daughter. During this tragedy, she does not want her daughter to be affected. To have additional monies available would give Annette the "breathing room" necessary handle day to day tribulations, that are sure to happen- Ex: Food, gas, medical expenses due to lack of insurance, bills, etc...
