Beth's Mission Trip to Moldova

Anyone that knows our mom (Beth Rubenstein) knows that she is the most selfless, loving person and always puts others before herself. She is the best mom ever to all 5 of us girls and the best grandmom to her 5 grandchildren (in fact, we even call her "Super-Mimi!) She also has an extremely special gift of loving and nurturing babies and parents in the NICU on a daily basis who are going through a hard time.
Mom has always wanted to go on a mission trip to be able to help other children in need, and she now has that opportunity. But we need your help! From September 30 to October 9, mom has the chance of a lifetime to go spread her love and care to orphans in Transnistria, Moldova through Help The Children. In order to be able to go on the mission trip, the cost to travel to Moldova is $1,900. You can learn more about Help The Children below.
ABOUT HELP THE CHILDREN
Help The Children is a nondenominational Christian mission. It aims at changing the lives of orphans in Transnistria, Moldova. Through our programs we provide Foster Care for orphans in loving families, Transitional Care for graduates of the orphanages, Summer Bible camps in local churches and orphanages. We seek to provide spiritual nourishment and supply the underprivileged children with basic things such as clothes, medication and proper food. Orphanages often times have limited resources to provide even basic care.
Typical volunteer work would be doing repairs, providing mental and psychological support, teaching the kids about health and hygiene, manual labor jobs, painting, renovation work and other projects.
Volunteering in Transnistria on our Orphanage ministry is the best travel experience you can have since you would be making a difference in a poor child’s life in the orphanage or any other case.

On behalf of our entire family, we thank you in advance for helping Mom's dreams to go on this mission trip become a reality. She rarely does things for herself, and this is something she really wants to do. If we can have a small hand in allowing her to spread her gift of love and joy to others it would be so amazing.
