My name is Mykaiah Brown and I am asking for your prayers and donations as I embark on a new journey to start my creative future as an Advertising major.  I am starting this gofundme in hope of receiving additional funding to start my education and creative future at Savannah College of Arts and Design (SCAD). I come from a single parent household. I am the eldest of three girls. Growing up I always felt that I have to set the tone for my younger siblings. I carry the responsibility of letting them know that despite our circumstances anything is possible, and no dream is too big or unattainable as long as you give it your all. That is why I must break through every barrier placed in my path and be relentless in fulfilling my purpose. The journey of finding my purpose and making my dreams a reality has not been an easy one; however, I will not allow the aforementioned to deter me from experiencing success with continuing my education in pursuit of earning a bachelor’s degree in Advertising with a concentration of art direction. I am not able to do this alone, and I am asking for your help in creating a better future for myself and opening the path for those behind me. 

I plan to use the raised funds to cover the additional cost of tuition along with school supplies. To receive your support would mean so much to me as you will have helped me achieve my dream of attending SCAD and earning a degree to start my creative future as a graphic designer/ brand consultant. While I am hoping to raise the listed amount, I would be extremely grateful for whatever contributions are made, for that will bring me closer to my intended goal.
