Notes for Nick

My name is Andrea Melanson, I am a family friend of the Young family and had the pleasure of being taught by Mrs. Young. Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing Nick very well, I have the deepest empathy for them and know how special of a person he was through stories. The Young family are well known and loved in North Sydney. They have suffered a great loss to their family and many have lost a great friend as well. Nick had a love for music as I'm sure many can speak to. "Notes for Nick" is a campaign to help members of the Northside Community access music. This will be available for a student pursuing a music career, groups in need, and other areas that may pop up as an opportunity to give. The Youngs are active members in the community and commemorate their late daughter and sister with a track and field event each summer and this will be a different way to celebrate Nick based on his interests. I would love to present this opportunity in the coming months to chosen individuals and groups and be able to show the Young family what a special difference this memorium of Nick will make in the Northside community.
