On May 24th I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. It’s a blood cancer that affects your lymphatic system. Doctors have order a minimum of 4-6 months of chemo plus radiation. Depending on how chemo goes I may need more. I will be off work for 6 months to a year. 

Many of you have asked how you can help and have asked if I have a GoFund Me so I’ve created one. I’m gonna need help fighting this battle. I thought nursing school was stressful but cancer and everything that comes with it is far worst. The medical bills are coming and the 60% of my pay with disability makes me nervous. 

I appreciate everyone’s support, prayers and well wishes. I don’t feel alone. I’m ready to kick this cancers ass. Please don’t feel obligated to help but if you do thank you from the bottom of my heart. After this I will find ways to keep paying it forward.
