My name is Amy Manley, and my daughter Laura asked me to tell you her story:
Laura's fiancee', TJ Foster, lost his battle with cancer on Monday, July 11th. He had fought for over 3 years, and this was the 2nd time he had cancer. However, his death was unexpected since we had just had good news Thursday that showed Chemo was reducing or at least slowing down the cancer. His death was the result of pneumonia related to his immune system.
TJ was a hardworking, caring, musical guy who touched many lives. He was unable to work this past year because of the throat cancer and did not have insurance to help with final expenses, etc.
This campaign is to help pay his funeral expenses and other things. Laura is a single mother and a Journeyman Electrician, but she cannot do this on her own.
When TJ first got cancer he told Laura: "I have some great friends who are going to want to help me through this fight. They're going to want to help in their own way, and please let them." We have already had some of TJ's friends ask what they can do and how they can help, so I decided to set up this "Gofundme" campaign for Laura to let them help.
This is an immediate need. Laura can cover the upfront costs but only by juggling bills that will still need to be paid eventually. Everything and anything is deeply appreciated.
