Hi everyone- as some of you know Elijah had a horrible accident in his adaptive stroller - we had purchased this years ago with a fundraiser. I didn’t go through a therapist and it seems it would have helped with his safety in his chair. While hunting for Easter eggs , he was locked in his adaptive stroller and very excited. He started stimming back and forth. The chair became unlocked and he rolled down a hill into an iron gate.
He received a staple to his head and a broken right leg. He has since been doing great and started physical therapy. However for safety reasons and ptsd to him, Elijah can’t use his adaptive chair anymore.
We have partnered up with a wheelchair company that specializes in fitting the proper chair. We want to start a fundraiser to raise money for this amazing Chair. It’s very expensive but necessary. Please help us raise funds for his new wheels.
