My name is Theresa. In 2010 I lost my entire left arm in an automobile accident. A wonderful and very gifted Certified Prosthetist has offered to design and build an artificial limb for me, donating his time, labor and the materials he currently has in his Orange County, California lab. There are still however, a few components he will have to order. Unfortunately I don't have the means to pay for the cost of them.
My sister and brother-in-law have gererously taken care of travel expenses for three trips from my Arkansas home the design, fitting, training and modifications will require. For their unselfish help I am truly greatful.
I was a musician and my dream is to one day hold my flute again. The rest I can dp with foot pedals, like a guitarist would use.
Anything you can give will help. If you cannot help at tjis time, please help someone, somewhere when you are able. To help one another selflessly is also a gift to one's own soul.
