Hi everyone, Last night my mother’s house caught on fire due to a stove fire and her entire kitchen was destroyed along with the dining room, living room, and family room. Our family is completely devastated with having to throw out almost all of our clothing, furniture that has been in the family since the early 60’s, and pictures that can not be replaced.! This house is the last thing that our family has left that our grandmother worked her heart and soul out to buy on her own in the 60’s and left for the family. All of our family gatherings and birthday parties are held at this house and all of the babies and kids come here to play, including all of the neighborhood kids near by. My mom as left the house when my grandmother passed to make sure that the house stayed in the family and people that had no where to go, and kids that needed somewhere to play and parents needed a break, they all had someone and somewhere they can go that is safe, loving, and dependable. This house was everyone’s safe haven! Now it’s not even livable to be in. Due to Covid most of us have lost our jobs and my aunt was already struggling to pay the bills, therefore leaving her unable to pay home owners insurance on the house. With no unemployment insurance anymore and no income whatsoever we are so lost and overwhelmed with pain and stress of how we are going to repair our house back to the safe, loving, welcoming house it once was. I’m praying and praying for a miracle with face filled with tears and begging for anyone to help us please. Any donation will help, so if not for us, please do it for the kids so they can have their play house and loving home back please. Thank you so much and God bless you.
