I'm fundraising for my nephew, Ty'kee Sanchez and his mother, my sister Kendra (Mimi) Sanchez. They need your help. Ty'kee has a form of muscular dystrophy called Duchenne. Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscle degeneration and weakness. After being found non-responsive in bed one morning he had spent eight days in the hospital where his mother was told he needed to have surgery. Ty'kee has recently undergone a trachea surgery that's going to leave him in the hospital for an additional two months. This has left his mother unable to attend work to provide for her family. She has to care for Ty'kee when he is able to return home from the hospital. She has another son headed for college in the fall and also a daughter headed to high school this year. Ty'kee will require lots of help and support when he returns home. He will need reliable transportation and an in-home nurse. So please find it in your heart to help this family in need.
