Annie's Fig Wig

Hi, my name is Alicia but this is the story of Annie.
Annie is my cousin and she is 32 years old. Two months ago  she was diagnosed with breast cancer, 6 months after her first son was born. In early August she underwent a bilateral mastectomy and just recently found out that they found invasive cancer and she will need to undergo chemo where she will most likely lose her hair.   So in order to help Annie through these tough times, I am teaming up with the other Figueroa sisters and family to make Annie a Fig Wig, a custom made wig made of real hair donations using mostly Figueroa family hair. Unfortunately custom wigs are not covered by insurance and the cost is over $1,000.  The wig will take 6 weeks to make and the chemo sessions will begin in October.  

Although it would be great if you could donate some hair, I only ask if you could chip in a little to make this wig possible and help Annie feel beautiful again while she heals. There are no words to express how grateful we would be.
