Brian's medical fund

Many of you know Brian Krull. He is a fellow resident, firefighter, and paramedic who spent nineteen years serving the Community of Barrington. He is a loving husband and father who coached and volunteered for Barrington’s teams. Unfortunately, Brian’s job is the cause of an illness that has rendered him unable to continue working.
On February 13, 2016, Brian collapsed at the fire station and has been since diagnosed with an incurable lung disease that, with several surgeries under his belt, has spread to his liver, spleen, urinary and gastrointestinal tracts. He has now tested positive in his lymph nodes and a spot has been found on his pelvic bone.
On May 28, 2016 The Village of Barrington and Barrington Fire Department contacted Brian to inform him that his last paycheck was in the mail and as of June 1, 2016 he would not be covered with insurance or disability pay and medical benefits therefor; he cannot continue to be under doctor’s care without our help. The time for Brian to fight the disease that is taking over his body is now. Brian’s friends and family would be grateful if our community could help offset the cost of his medical treatments and expenses that have rapidly accumulated.
Thank you for taking the time to read his story. Please help Brian and his family to stop their lives from going up in smoke.
