CrossFit Overcome Insurance 2016

CrossFit Overcome is a non-profit CrossFit Affiliate that works strictly with athletes with developmental disabilities and physical disabilities.  The Goal of the organization is to offer scalable training to each individual athlete in a safe environment with a supporting community.
There is no cost to our members and we encourage family members and loved ones to join in on the workouts.


In the three years CrossFit Overcome has been around we have never charged any of our athletes.  Our coaches are all volunteers, our facility is donated to us, CrossFit each year comps our Affiliate fee the only true cost is our insurance through CrossFit RRG.  Last year the CrossFit Community was so instrumental in raising our second year funds.  With this year our insurance is cheaper and we only need to raise $1500 for the entire year.

Here is what CrossFit Overcome did last year:

We saw one of our athletes advance so much in his behavorial and social health that he is able to interact individually with everyone in the gym (oh and pick up his coach).  He also dropped unhealthy weight and gained strength.

We watched two of our athletes go off to college.  One was able to be strong enough to live on her own and the other is still doing CrossFit at CrossFit Glory Bound in Denver.  




We had the opportunity to work with one of our athletes and he played in the National Sled Hockey tournament this year.  It was his first year as goalie for the team but he managed to stop all goals except one and went on to lead his team to winning the entire tournament!  He was named MVP and because of his performance was invited to the USA Hockey National development camp this year.

CrossFit Overcome believes that CrossFit is for EVERYONE!  We focus on ability and use CrossFit to better the quality of life for each of our athletes.  Bigger, Stronger, Faster and Healthier!
