I am attempting to get to Dallas for Officer Michael Smith's Funeral Service. The problem is the flights are upwards of $1200 then factor in hotel, rental, and food. That's a lot of money for a cop supporting a family. So at the request of some friends I set up this account to help offset the costs. I have been to most of the NY and New England Line of Duty Deaths in my 17 year career. Going is a show of support for the family of the slain officer, the officers he worked with and the community she served. It's the least I can do for someone who gave everything.
