Tara is a single mother to three children. Nate is 12, Rhett is 5 and Scarlett just over a year. Rhett has autism and KGB syndrome and Scarlett was born premature at 24 weeks and developed chronic lung disease from being incubated for so long and had a trach and gbutton due to this. She spent the first year of her life in the hospital and finally came home just a couple of weeks ago.
Since then, things have been a nightmare with the home nurses. From not knowing what to do, to incessant talking and not paying attention, to falling asleep.
Needless to say, Scarlett suffered due to this. She has also been sick with the lung disease. This morning, she had a medical emergency and unfortunately, passed away. Her organs are being donated and Tara is just beside herself trying to process this. She will need help with funeral and cremation costs as well as help with her two sons (as they were there when this was happening) and even meals. This is going to be a rocky road for them and they need all of the support they can get.
Tara has been working her butt off to take care of Scarlett and Rhett, while dealing with their disabilities and still being an amazing mother to all three of those children and giving as many great experiences as a mother could give a child. She has gotten through so many obstacles from getting out of an abusive situation, to losing her home and has prevailed despite it all. She is a wonderful mother and person and needs help in her darkest hour. If you can help, please donate and please share. No mother should have to experience this.
