Mini Van - Single mother w/3 girls

I live in a small town with my wife and 4 kids.  I also have a modest size duplex not to far away.  Every now and then I have turnover and have to look for a new tenant.  I recently came across a single woman with 3 little girls all under the age of 8.  She recently had some unspeakable and unfortunate turn of events that has led her to bunking at friends house.  I had many qualified tenants that applied, but my gutt was telling me she and her girls needs a helping hand and a place to call their own.  Sleeping on her friends couch while all 3 girls share a room with her friends kids has to be stressful and uncomfortable.  Needless to say, she has been my tenant for the past 4 months and everything is going great.  The girls love having their own room, the mom is so thankful she has a roof over her girls head.  However, I just learned she leaves every morning at 6am until 7pm on foot and by city bus because she does not have a car.  I discovered this on my way to work seeing her walk with the youngest in her arms and the other two childen walking closely behind.  I thought how lucky my wife and I am to have a home, have a car, have the little things in life to make life easier for us.  Meanwhile, here is this woman trying to make it on her own with 3 girls without her hand out.  I think of my 4 kids and wonder could I do what she does everyday?  
She does not know I am doing this and not sure how this will turn out.  I would like to raise enough money to buy a decent mini van and first year of insurance for her.  I figure this might cost around $1500.  Every $5 dollars counts.    So if you can skip coffee or lunch today and donate to nice heartfelt cause, please do below.
