Help Derrick Troutman’s Recovery

(This content has been published and approved by Derrick & Family ) Our Tank-Depot colleague, Derrick Troutman, suffered a horrific accident April 15 when he was hit on his scooter while going to the bank. He has already had five major surgeries and will take months to regain the use of his arms/hands as well as to learn how to walk with a prosthetic.
If you have met Derrick you will know he has a “can-do” attitude and I have no doubt he will fight his hardest to conquer all the challenges that lie ahead. He cares deeply about Tank-Depot and his colleagues, in fact when he first woke up in the hospital, he remembered us before he remembered his family members! Derrick is one of the hardest workers I have ever met. The day he was riding to the bank, he had just found out he was going to be recognized as one of our company's outstanding employees during our Quarterly Awards meeting.
I was fortunate enough to visit him in the hospital this week while I was in Pompano Beach and I was pleased he still has that incredible wit and positive spirit that we all love. Derrick could really use help to supplement his family’s income until he can return to work. His wife Tameka has been by his side from the first day of the accident and has a lot on her plate managing Derrick’s care, her own job and their children’s needs.
Please give whatever you can afford to this incredible family to help them through this difficult time. They would really appreciate any and all donations. Honestly, there’s no shame in just giving a few dollars, every dollar helps. If you can’t give at this time, we understand but please share their story on social media. Thank you so much for your generosity. We want to show Derrick the love and respect he deserves from all of us.
