Eddie Toman, Senseless Violence

My brother, Eddie Toman Jr, is a father to 7 children. He works hard daily and provides for his family. On any given day you can find him between work, home or in the garage. He has even pursued a new business venture in support of his drag racing passion! On Saturday 3/5/2022, he became the victim of a shooting in which the assailant shot from a car into a crowd. My brother was 1 of the victims of this senseless act. He took a bullet in his left upper arm which traveled thru his arm, into his side, punctured his lung and just missed his heart. He was very lucky. They had to operate on Tuesday 3/8 as the chest tube inserted to drain the fluid and blood from his lung was not working. Surgery removed the damaged portion of the lung and they were also able to retrieve the bullet from behind his heart.They have since removed the ventilator and he now only has the nose cannula for oxygen but he is mostly coherent though medicated and even a bit sarcastic he's fighting and things are improving! He is still in ICU and has a long road to recovery. Most of the medical expenses incurred will be out of pocket expenses. He could use our support.
