My younger brother, Brian, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) on his 45th birthday last year. He fought the cancer with courage and dignity. He found a reason to smile, and put a smile on the faces of those around him. People were attracted to his gentle spirit. He always had something nice to say, and wanted to lift the spirit of those around him.
Brian ultimately lost his battle after only 6 months. Our lives have been forever changed.
